According to Hypebeast Streetwear Is Driving Hardware Innovation

Over the past few years we’ve watched as hardware for soft goods has moved from an afterthought to a major focus. In a recent article by Hypebeast, they highlight the influence of streetwear, street culture and luxury brands and credit them for upping the quality and design of standard hardware such as zips, buckles and snaps.

Traditionally hardware innovation has been left to the manufacturers which has generally meant choices were limited and evolution was slow. So we’re glad to see hardware getting some more attention.
